Stieg Larsson became the first author to win The Book Awards in two consecutive months with his December victory 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'. A gripping crime drama that brings the 2009 awards to a fitting and close run conclusion.
Codename Gaby by Nik Morton stole the Short Story Award for 2010 and a prize of $100 ahead of the two runners up each of whom received $50. All three prize winners are available for download at no charge on The Book Awards site.
2010 starts with some great nominations already in the running so here's hoping the year will be as strong as last year.
On behalf of all the successful authors you have supported in 2009, and those nominated for awards, many thanks and a very happy New Year!
